Anime Recommendation #1: If you like Steins;Gate you might like...

If you liked Steins;Gate:

The eccentric mad scientist Okabe, his childhood friend Mayuri, and the otaku hacker Daru have banded together to form the Future Gadget Research Laboratory, and spend their days in a ramshackle laboratory hanging out and occasionally attempting to invent incredible, yet generally useless, futuristic gadgets. However, their claymore is a hydrator and their hair dryer flips breakers, and the only invention that’s even remotely interesting is their Phone Microwave, which transforms bananas into oozing green gel. But when an experiment goes awry the gang discovers that the Phone Microwave can also send text messages to the past. And what's more, the words they send can affect the flow of time and have unforeseen, far-reaching consequences...

Satoru Fujinuma is a reclusive part-timer with no plans for the future. What sets him apart from the other slackers in his town is an involuntary time travel ability that allows him to jump back several seconds in time in order to prevent accidents and even deaths. As incidents around town begin reminding Satoru of a childhood trauma he'd sooner forget, he finally begins to question what caused his ability to surface and whether or not it's powerful enough to change the past.

Anime OST Spotlight #3: Aldnoah.Zero

Anime Title: Aldnoah.Zero
Opening/Ending/Other: Insert Song
Artist: SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:mizuki
Song: Keep on keeping on

Lyrics
Unknown soldier lying on the floor
Explosions forever
Now you take me away from danger
We had always covered up your face
Out there who will watch your back?
Because I don’t know if I can stay here

Game over
Now we hate our brothers
No longer can move my feet

But it’s
Keep on keeping on
And it’s I just wanna know
Inside it’s I don’t want to know
Over head they fly high it’s going
On and on and on
Will we oversee the smile of love and peace for everyone?
You can be sure
I’ll be back again

Broken window glass is everywhere
Explosions forever
Now you save me from oblivion
We had always covered up your face
Out there who will watch your back?
Because I don’t know if I can stay here

Game over
Now we hate our brothers
No longer can move my feet

But it’s
Keep on keeping on
And it’s I just wanna know
Inside it’s I don’t want to know
Over head they fly high it’s going
On and on and on
Will we oversee the smile of love and peace for everyone?
You can be sure
I’ll be back again

And I remember a long time ago
I will be there for you and please wait for me
Oh you must believe me
Better you believe your mind

But it’s
Keep on keeping on
And it’s I just wanna know
Inside it’s I don’t want to know
Over head they fly high it’s going
On and on and on
Will we oversee the smile of love and peace for everyone?
You can be sure
I’ll be back again

And I remember a long time ago
I will be there for you and please wait for me
Oh you must believe me
Better you believe your mind

Review of Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo

The Storyline at the start was unique, in a sense. It started pretty good and I got into it slightly but then halfway through I started to predict things, and just started to get slightly bored from it. I understand what was meant to be shown and how the audience was meant to perceive it as, and how it was meant to be unique and strange, but I felt it was a little too strange.

The Animation well, I couldn't get into the ABSTRACT style they used. I get why they wanted to do it, but I just couldn’t stand it, it was weird and strange and fake. I did start to get used to it, so after that I kind of went with the flow and it didn’t bother me anymore, but for the first half of it, you know the first half when the actual storyline was good I just couldn’t get used to it. The Sound was I guess the only amazing thing going, although I wasn’t a fan of the opening and ending songs, they did suit the Anime and style of Anime and the majority of the Dubbed voice actors did a pretty good job voice acting the characters.

The Characters for the most part were just purely annoying and pathetic. Strange thing is the man that most people hate is most likely the one character that was made up to be the perfect one in my opinion. The parents of the children were just utterly to blame for one of reasons why this Anime wasn’t as good as it could have been.

Overall I did enjoy half of the Anime and I do understand why they did certain things, but I just wasn’t a fan for the most part of the decisions that was made for this Anime.

6/10Story

4/10Animation

9/10Sound

7/10Characters

6.5/10Overall

P.S. Some of these Reviews that I am posting, was old Reviews, when I used to write Small Reviews. So some reviews I write will be long and some will be short. :)
